Services

At Family Osteopathy, we focus on identifying which barriers are holding you back from achieving your optimal health. This can only be achieved through patient-physician collaboration. We will work together to understand your personal health goals, and then develop an evidence-based, proactive plan incorporating preventative and interventional approaches. Our practice philosophy is always to help the body heal itself, whether through lifestyle modification, prescription management, osteopathic manipulation, or regenerative medicine.

We PARTNER with YOU to help
achieve your maximum HEALTH

Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment

OMT consists of several types of hands-on techniques designed to mobilize every type of tissue in the body, from muscles and ligaments to joints and fascia, and everything in between. At times this may also involve medication prescriptions, but it will more commonly involve tailored exercise prescriptions to increase and lengthen the impact of each treatment session. By partnering together to optimize the structure of the body, we can dramatically improve its function. There is no greater satisfaction for a patient to achieve a return of good health or enjoy life without painno longer require our services.

Diagnostic Musculoskeletal Ultrasound

In contrast to other forms of diagnostic imaging, musculoskeletal ultrasound allows the same physician who completes your history and physical exam to also view the related muscle, tendon, ligament, or nerve in both a stationary position and as it moves in real time. This can help obtain a more precise diagnosis, which often leads to better targeted medical or surgical treatment.

Ultrasound-guided injections can be both diagnostic and therapeutic, and they often can help postpone or prevent surgery. They can also be used in post-surgical recovery.
