Diagnostic Musculoskeletal Ultrasound

In contrast to other forms of diagnostic imaging, musculoskeletal ultrasound allows the same physician who completes your history and physical exam to also view the related muscle, tendon, ligament, or nerve in both a stationary position and as it moves in real time. This can help obtain a more precise diagnosis, which often leads to better targeted medical or surgical treatment.
